The intended recipient
A message and its attachments are intended for the person or organization addressed and may contain confidential information. If you receive a message by mistake, please notify the sender through a reliable contact method and delete the message and attachments from your systems, except where preservation is permitted or required by law.
Do not use, copy, or circulate material received in error unless you are authorized to do so or the use or disclosure is otherwise permitted or required by law.
Confidentiality and lawful disclosure
Please handle business information in accordance with the circumstances, applicable agreements, and law. This notice does not prevent lawful reporting, cooperation with a regulator or public authority, obtaining legal advice, making a legally protected disclosure, or complying with a disclosure or preservation requirement.
Privilege applies only where the law provides it
Some communications may qualify for attorney-client privilege or work-product protection. Those protections depend on the communication and the applicable law; they do not apply to every email.
This notice does not create an attorney-client relationship or make a message privileged. It cannot guarantee that a disclosure will preserve a protection or that a waiver has not occurred.
Roles and authority to make commitments
Incentive Card X is not a bank or card issuer. A reference in an email to a card program does not by itself establish an issuing role or program authorization.
A message does not by itself amend an existing agreement. Any commitment or change must satisfy the applicable agreement, the sender’s authority, and the law. This notice does not invalidate an otherwise enforceable agreement, electronic signature, or agreement formed by authorized email correspondence.
Electronic communication risks
Email can be delayed, misdirected, altered, intercepted, or affected by malicious links or attachments. We cannot guarantee that a message is complete, authentic, secure, or free of harmful material. Check unexpected instructions with a known contact before acting on them.
Do not email full card details, security codes, passwords, or other authentication secrets. These precautions do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or reduce any mandatory right.
Privacy, retention, and review
Correspondence may be retained or reviewed for legitimate business, service, security, recordkeeping, or legal purposes only as permitted by applicable law and consistently with the relevant privacy notice. This statement does not mean that every message is monitored, and sending or receiving an email is not blanket consent to monitoring or unrestricted processing.
Existing rights and communication obligations
This notice is written primarily for communications involving a United States business. It does not select a new governing law or jurisdiction, replace an existing agreement, or restrict rights and obligations imposed by applicable law.
Commercial email remains subject to applicable requirements, including CAN-SPAM where it applies. This notice does not replace required sender identification, a valid postal address, an unsubscribe mechanism, or the obligation to honor applicable opt-out requests.
