MEASUREMENT / KPIS

Give every rate a defined population

A useful KPI names what is counted, who could have reached that stage, and the period covered. Otherwise a percentage can hide more than it explains.

Use a metric dictionary

These are planning definitions, not a claim that every program supplies every data field. Select only measures supported by the actual Shopify and program information available to the authorized team.

Keep money and activity in context

Return-adjusted Shopify sales, campaign costs, and support workload belong beside activity measures. A delivery count is not a profitability metric, and card use is not equivalent to another order in the store.

Explain incomplete evidence

If the denominator is unavailable or no customer has reached a stage, report that limitation rather than a misleading rate. When follow-up is incomplete, label the observation period instead of comparing newer recipients with a fully observed audience.

MAKE THE BRIEF SPECIFIC

Plan the Shopify incentive around a real customer action.
